Mazur's sphere theorem shows that the unit sphere of the L_p-space can be H？lder homeomorphic to the unit sphere of the Hilbert space with explicit H？lder estimates.  In this talk, we will prove that Mazur's sphere theorem can be inherited by spheres of  its subspaces. As its applications, we provide a quantitative refinement  of  the work of Ribe and Aharoni-Lindenstrauss.

主讲人简介：

程庆进，厦门大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师。近期主要研究Banach空间球面结构理论及其应用。主持多项国家自然科学面上基金，并参加一项国家自然科学重点基金。在J. Convex Anal.、J.Funct.Anal.、Studia Math.、Sci. China Ser. A等国际期刊上发表学术论文20多篇。
